August, 29th, 2010 iPsycho is now complete and available on my new anthology DVD: ![]() Eat My Shorts (Compilation DVD): Android Axe Massacre iPsycho Jack + Jill One Night Stand The Protector That's all for now. Later Chris August, 1st, 2010 Escape From New Jersey is COMPLETE!!! HUZZAH!!! I invite you to take pleasure in watching my newly completed Snake Plissken webseries. I do believe these 4 installments tell an excellent tale of what could have happened to Snake after the events of New York and before his mission in L.A. So for all you Snake fans out there, this one's for you! That's all for now. Later Chris July, 16th, 2010 So I haven't really been updating this section for a while. I can't really tell if people even read it anymore, but regardless, allow me to catch everyone up. First up, we have my new webseries- Escape From New Jersey, parts 1 and 2 are online for your viewing pleasure. Parts 3 and 4 will be coming very soon. The series connects what could have happened to Snake between NY and LA. Next up, One Night Stand- starring Zoe Sloane from my upcoming feature, Daddy's Girl. The film is a very stylistic noir look into the horrors and consequences of date rape. If you're a fan of the abstract, you will enjoy this sexy piece. Now down to business. Though I am hesitant to say it, I will finally be attempting to make a Batman fan film with Batman actually appearing in it. The short will be called Knight Waltz and will star the lovely Mandy Evans as Catwoman. You may remember her as the titular character Jaci, from my short promo. I also have plans for a Dazzler short film starring HYPODIVE front woman, JKLYN, as well as plans to finally finish up my Punisher series. As for Mr. J? I'm currently growing my hair out as I am friggin' tired of wearing that stupid wiglet. Once my hair is of proper length, we will start that machine up again. That's all for now. Later Chris February, 7th, 2010 Things have been moving a tad slower than expected, what with my Punisher and Mr. J series. But all hope is not lost. I assure you things will get back on track asap. In the meantime, I just posted a new Tough Spot in the Extras section as well as a teaser trailer to my next feature- Daddy's Girl. Check it out in the Preview section by clicking on the poster to the film or going to the official production blog HERE. Also, The Final Fight Trailer has been re-added to the Extras section after a sudden boost of interest from our friends at Capcom. Enjoy. That's all for now. Later Chris January, 14th, 2010 Well this year has DEFINITELY started off with a bang. Android and Jack + Jill are complete and online for your viewing pleasure. Next up is as follows, Sincerely Mr. J, Punisher'81 & 82 and a few more select projects that I will mention as time passes on. Anyhoo, enjoy. That's all for now. Later Chris December, 25th, 2009 YOU BASTARDS!!! That's all for now. Later Chris December, 16th, 2009 And that's a wrap for 2009. I have completed all but one project (Choice) and I am ready to kick back and enjoy the Holiday season with some cider and a plethora of sexy women. Yes, it's happening. Anyhoo, be sure to check out Deadpool's X-Mas Special, I'm Superman Idiot, Sincerely Mr. J (the trailer), the Fan Films Demo Reel and of course, Punisher'80. That ought to keep you folks tied over till the new year. So what's next on the chopping block for 2010? Here is the order as follows: Android Jack + Jill Sincerely Mr. J Punisher'81 Punisher'82 MoonKnight Choice (even if it kills me) And that's just what I have planned for January. That's all for now. Later Chris December, 6th, 2009 What a busy month this is turning out to be for me. Punisher'80 is COMPLETE! Escape from New Jersey is under way and I just posted a trailer for the 4th Mr.J installment. That's right, there will be a 4th film. Next up on the 2009 Blinky Bucket List: Android and hopefully Choice oh and Deadpool's X-MAS SPECIAL. That's right, DEADPOOL!!!! Finally. That's all for now. Later Chris November, 19th, 2009 Howdy everyone. Well it's been quite an interesting month. "Well Done Mr. J" is finally complete. Not to mention "Punisher'79". Methodic is still on DVD and doing nicely and word on the street is that it might be coming to Video on Demand in 2010. I will know more about that later on. So what's next up on the chopping block for Blinky Productions? Well first up is "Choice" starring Brandon Slagle and David Warchol. I don't want to say much about it apart from the fact that its going to be very weird and somewhat spiritual. Don't worry, you will like it. Next up, "Punisher'80". Damn right. 79 was so much fun and the response was just so wonderful that I knew I had to make another. And now I shall. The year is 1980 and Punisher is on the hunt for a serial killer on Christmas Eve. It's going to be a hoot. And shortly after, I will be filming a music video for a close friend of mine followed by "Escape from New Jersey". No this is not a remake or a sequel to my 2005 Jack Burton/Snake Plissken mashup. It's a brand new solo story that takes place right after "Escape from New York" end. And based on the script and the locations I have scouted, its gonna rock and will hopefully become the definitive Snake Plissken fan film. But hey, who knows? That's all for now. Later Chris October, 6th, 2009 Good news everyone, as of last night, I officially finished the first draft of Methodic II. What this means is I have finally stopped procrastinating and am ready to begin development on the sequel to the world's first basher movie. With any luck, I will be able to find funding and make this bad boy even cooler than the first film. Hopefully it will happen sometime soon. That's all for now. Later Chris September, 16th, 2009 Here is a small list of things I plan to do in the coming weeks: 1. New fan film PUNISHER'79 2. New fan film WELL DONE MR. J 3. New fan film THE ALLEY CAT Hopefully I'll get all of these accomplished before November. Only time will tell. That's all for now. Later Chris September, 4th, 2009 MADNESS!!! I kid you not! On September 1st, Methodic hit stores across America as well as online and the film is already out of stock. Today, Amazon.com and Bestbuy have posted that they are both out of stock and on back order for the DVD. Who knew? This is good right? I've also been receiving reports that copies in stores are disappearing quickly. This is good too, right? Well I don't know about you but I feel like it's Christmas. If you would like to order Methodic and receive a 30% discount, go HERE!!! In other Blinky News, to coincide with the release of Methodic, I have put out a short film sequel entitled, Methodic 1.5. The film can be found on my site as well as Youtube. If you've seen Methodic and want more, check out 1.5. And if you haven't yet, but want to know what the Methodic is like, then test the waters with 1.5. That's all for now. Later Chris June 30th, 2009 Be sure to check out my two new shorts, Adjusted and The Backseat promo. No other major updates yet. But I'll keep you posted as things happen. That's all for now. Later Chris May, 7th, 2009 Howdy folks. So I have a new development going on: My new action movie, ARMED ROBBERY!!! This will be my second feature film and will have everything I love and would want to have in an action movie..... minus Jerry Bruckheimer sized budget. But that's okay. I don't need millions of dollars to do an action movie, I just need the two key elements: Girls and Guns! If you cannot tell from my post already, I'm very excited about this movie. You can check out the poster in the PREVIEW section and click it to see the teaser site. That's all for now. Later Chris March, 13th, 2009 Well it's Friday the 13th.... again. So yeah I've definitely been busy these last few months. First off I appologize for any lack of updates, but I have some news. I am now the director of "The Screening Room" on NBC's NY NonStop. It's a new channel launching this weekend in the New York tri-state area. As of now, the show is only available to the NYC area, but ultimately it will go national. Basically, its a show meant to spotlight indie filmmakers (like myself) and air their original shorts. Kicking off the pilot episode, will be my 2006 short film, "The Protector". Also co-hosting the show is Kim, my girlfriend. She will be hosting the music video segment entitled- The M Factor. All in all, the show is pretty cool and has not only gotten my foot in the door at NBC, but has allowed me to bypass all security and enabled to actually film in their studios. Needless to say, I'm really excited about all this. Now on to Blinky business. I recently have begun work on a number of undertakings. The first is a Scarlet Spider fan film. Now I know I announced this like two years ago. Well this time I actually plan to do it. I swear. Next up, and filming this weekend is "Call Me Mr. J", a fan film about Joker's seduction of Harley Quinn while in Arkham. This film also marks the directorial debut of Kim as she not only co-wrote the script, but will be guiding me as I attempt to portray a Heath Ledger inspired Joker. I think this will turn out pretty damn well. In other news, I am gearing up to begin work on a couple of other original shorts. In lew of me now doing the Screening Room, I plan to not only be the director of the show, but also a contributor. So stay tuned. I go a lot on plate which means lots and lots of eye candy for you. That's all for now. Later Chris December, 21st, 2008 Christmas is coming early. Big news on the horizon. It seems a couple of studios have taken some major interest in a few of my feature scripts. With that being said, a couple of deals are in the preliminary works to potentially secure funding for each project. I of course will be jumping on as director. I can't go into too much detail at the moment, but my fingers are crossed and I'm very excited about all of this. Currently, the chances of any of these deals happening is very good, so I'll keep you all posted. On that note, my script for the Maniac Cop remake, as it turns out, has finally landed in the lap of the owner of the franchise- Larry Cohen. And from the looks of things, he really liked what he read. I'm not sure if he had a chance to see my short, but I will definitely make sure he does. Should legalities work out between Mr. Cohen and the folks at his camp, there could very well be a Maniac Cop remake in the near future with my name attached to it. More news on everything as it comes in. That's all for now. Later Chris December, 9th, 2008 Hello friends. Well it's been a wild year for me. For those of you who don't already know, today Niki Notarile and I officially divorced. It was a long time coming and today it finally all happened. Fear not, we parted on mutually respectable terms, and though we are not best of buddies right now, there is no bad blood between us. With that being said, Niki will no longer be participating in anymore of my films. Subsequently, her role as Catwoman has also come to an end. From here out until further notice, Catwoman will be taking a catnap. So what does this mean? Well for one, it means I'm single. And two, it means it's time for me to pick up the pieces and move onward. So now that that's out of the way, let's catch everyone up with what's been going on at the BP HQ.... if you even care. Does anyone even read these posts? First up, we have Axe Massacre. After four years, I've finally returned to where I began and thus have made a new Axe Massacre short. But much like I did with Methodic, this short is only a promo to entice potential investors to jump on the Axe band wagon. So for those of you who got to see the original Axe short film, fear not, the original ending is still in tact for the feature, as well as to your delight, a few new things have been added. Second up, Elektra (The Hand & The Devil) is finally completed. This is a good thing because now I am free to tackle some more projects I've been itching to do. What are they you ask? I cannot say just yet, only because everytime I do say what I want to do next, something always gets in the way of it. So for right now, my lips are sealed. That's all for now. Later Chris October, 10th, 2008 Just in time for Halloween, I present to you- MANIAC COP! Yeah, last night I shot a new short film based on the Maniac Cop series in hopes of attracting the attention of the rights owner, Larry Cohen. My goal is to ultimately direct a remake or the next installment of the franchise. So we shall see what happens. But in the meantime, enjoy my new short on the homepage as well as in the films section. That's all for now. Later Chris September, 27th, 2008 HOLY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN FOREVER BATMAN!!! Okay, sorry about that. My life has been going a mile a minute since my last update. I guess I'll start off with the immediate things, I've added a few new videos to the EXTRA section as well as "Samurai" to the Samurai page in the FILMS section. I know it's taken me about three years to do so, but after a couple of requests I finally caved in and uploaded it. Hope you folks like it. It was probably my 4th or 5th short film. br> Next up as some of you know from my last update, Methodic is still on sale via my website. Be sure to order your copy while supplies last...... And now that the shameless plug is out of the way, onto new business. I will be attending the Sacramento Horror Film Festival October 17-19th this year in where else, but Sacramento CA. I will be screening the final cut of Methodic as well as my new short film "There's a Maniac in My House!!!". As some of you know, this video is not available via this website.... yet. Currently it's on disc 2 of Methodic and may or may not be available after the screening. In other news, I am currently in the middle of securing the budget for my next feature. I can't tell you more about it just yet, at least not until the money is in the bank, simply because I don't want to jinx myself. But rest assured, once I get more info, I'll let you know. Though I will say the poster for the film to be IS in the preview section. But which one is it? And finally, I have begun working on my next fan film project- Elektra (The Hand and the Devil). You can watch the teaser trailer in the preview section. I am currently in the middle of filming and will have everything hopefully wrapped up within the next month or so. I would have had everything done already, but schedules can always be a pain in the ass when you're not paying people. Also, this film will mark my first Marvel Fan Film. I think you all will definitely like it. That's all for now. Later Chris July 6th, 2008 Good news folks, at long last, Methodic, my first feature film is finally going on sale as of September 1st, 2008. You can pre-order your DVD now from the Merchandise section of the Methodic website. This two disc DVD is only $24.99 plus shipping and handling. Order now to guarantee it's arrival by 9/1/08. You can read more about the unrated DVD and all its special features HERE. That's all for now. Later Chris April 29th, 2008 Sorry I haven't updated much to the site. I have been super busy working on various projects. Regretfully none of those projects were my own so production on anything I may have wanted to do in 2008 has been drastically set back. On the plus side, I've been fortunate enough to travel to many places, including Las Vegas to shoot a fitness video with a Victoria Secret's model. But that's another story for another day. Now down to Blinky business. We are all over the place. Niki and I recently did a guest appearance on The Loud Idiots on Hear New Brunswick radio. We made our annual appearance at NYC Comic Con and are also expected to attend the forthcoming Chiller Theatre. We will also be guests at Big Apple Con and will be screening Methodic on June 7th at 7:45 at the show. We will also also be guests at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors June 22nd and will be doing a panel about Methodic and possibly screening portions of the film. Be sure to attend either of these shows if you want to check out Methodic. I'll have more updates soon.... hopefully. That's all for now. Later Chris February 14th, 2008 Happy Bloody Valentine's Day everyone! Not much news to update you with, but some news none the less. First off, as of March 1st, Methodic will be officially complete and ready for dvd, festivals and theaters. All that's left to do now is to figure out who wants Methodic and where to take it. And while we're on the subject, DO NOT FORGET, TUESDAY THE 19TH, METHODIC WILL SCREEN AT INSOMNIFEST!!! If you miss this one day screening, you WILL have to wait until the fall of this year before you get a chance to see it again. In other Blinky News, Niki Notarile, Brandon Slagle, Rachael Robbins and I have all been added as guests at the June 2008 Fangoria Weekend of Horrors which will be held in Secaucus NJ. For tickets to this show, please visit: the Fangoria Con Website. We will have a table and will indeed be screening Methodic as well as some of our other work. We hope to see you there. And finally,CONNOOGA!!! Next week, February 21st to the 24th, Niki and I will be guests at the 1st annual Chattanooga Tennesse comic convention properly entitled: Connooga. We will be signing autographs, screening fan films, doing panels and just partying it up. If you live in the Chattanooga area or plan on coming out, please do so. We would love to meet you. That's all for now. Later Chris January 1st, 2008 Happy New Year everyone! 2007 was very kind to me, but man have I got plans for 2008. So let me start off this new year with some updates on the big projects that I've been working on. First up: Methodic- We are nearing the final cut with an anticipated theatrical and dvd release in late 2008. Also, if you would like a sneak peak at the film, then listen up. On February 19th 2008, Methodic will be screened online as part of the Insomnifest International Online Horror Film Festival. Tickets, times and details can be found at The Insomnifest Website. But remember, Methodic will only be screening 2/19/08. So save that date or else you will have to wait till the movie hit theaters later in the year. Next up on the horizon, my new feature projects "Cat and Mouse" and "The Backseat". These are two suspense thrillers I plan on shooting back to back early this year. I don't have much information on either of these projects that I can share at the moment, but you can check out their posters in the PREVIEW SECTION and be sure to stay tuned. In the upcoming weeks, as shooting dates draw closer, I'll definitely fill you all in. And finally, the fan films front. Sorry to say, but I've basically been forced into a debilitating state and have been unable to produce anything fan film related. Despite how much I want to, the weather, coupled with the recent holiday season, everyone's schedules and just plain crummy luck have seriously prevented me from making anything. But fear not, I should be back on the fan film circuit in no time. That's all for now. Later Chris November 20th, 2007 And now your Blinky news brief. As of last week, I have officially begun working on a Captain Action tv pilot. And NO, this is NOT A FAN FILM. This is the real thing and it rocks. I, along with my pal Chris Irving, have penned a very funny and promising Captain Action script. The show right now is in the early stages. We're trying to secure funding and sponsorship etc. But the good news is Ed Catto and Joe Ahearn, the men behind the Action have teamed up with me to produce this sucker, so licensing and copyrights are NOT an issue. And that is such a relief I tell you. As of now, we are looking to secure a few names for the show, but I cannot divulge that info just yet. But I CAN say that Niki Notarile and Brandon Slagle will be in for sure, as well as everyone's favorite soup nazi, Larry Thomas. We're aiming to begin production early next year and have it all ready for a big presentation at the 2008 New York Comic Con, I promise nothing but I sure as hell hate missing deadlines. So keep your fingers crossed as I grab this bull by the horns. That's all for now. Later Chris October 24th, 2007 Hey folks. In an effort to create more awareness for Methodic aka, shameless self promoting, I've decided to hold a contest. The challenge, make something really friggin cool about Methodic, whether it be art, a fan film etc. The coolest entry gets the prize. The winner is chosen by me. The prize? A 20 minute private youtube screening of Methodic. The video will be of what I screened at Rock and Shock not too long ago and the scenes we showed, got rave reviews. What to expect in the video? Murder, mayhem and Charles Cyphers. So there ya go. If you have some spare time and want to make something cool- go for it. Email it to me and come Halloween, I'll choose a winner. Have fun everyone. In other news, Methodic premiered last week at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival. The film was widely received and declared one of the Top 3 favorite horror movies of the show. With litterally no negative comments, Methodic was praised and welcomed into the world of horror. If you missed out on the Sacramento screening, fear not. Coming this Saturday, Methodic will screen again at the Breffni Bar in Sunnyside Queens. Showtime starts at 8pm. For more information on tickets and location, visit Comics Online . Hope to see you there. That's all for now. Later Chris September 23rd, 2007
THE DOLLMAN MASK $25.00 This mask is hand made and will fit any size. Perfect for Halloween. That's all for now. Later Chris September 10th, 2007 Hey folks. It's been awhile and if you are a regular to this site, I appologize for the lack of updates. But here I am now. Methodic is complete. I have finished a rough cut and am now working on the sound design of the film. We will be shooting an additional pickup scene this week. Once that is complete and the score is properly assembled, we will begin test screenings in and around the New York City area. So if you are a local to NYC, keep checking back here for updates on when and where we will be screening Methodic. On the fan film front, Hellblazer unfortunately had to take a back seat to Methodic's production. So I was unable to finish it when I originally anticipated. But it is edited and I will continue to work on it when I get the free time, but I need everyone to understand that the original feature clearly takes precidence over the fan film. Anyhoo, I should have something up soon. We'll see. That's all for now. Later Chris August 3rd, 2007 It's official, four more days till principal photography for Methodic begins. So if you don't hear from me for a while, you know why. As on now, I'm in the midst of trying to get a decent celebrity cameo in the film. Also, Methodic is schedule for an October 20th, 2007 premeire, so once shooting is done, you can bet I'll be busy as hell. Speaking of hell, be sure to check out my latest creation in fan films: Hellblazer: Proper Gents which is due out in a week or so. I just need to fix up the audio and I'll be done. That's all for now. Later Chris June 21st, 2007 Blinky Productions is kicking off this summer with a bash. This just in, "Methodic", my new horror movie has just completed Principal Casting and is scheduled to film later this summer. With a budget set at $20,000.00 it's merely a matter of time before everything is finalized and this sucker is on DVD. You can also read more about Methodic and it's announcement at: Fangoria.com Next up on my list of things to do, I swear to God, I'm going to finish World's Finest even if it kills me. Production for this has been a nightmare when it comes to schedules of other actors, but trust me, it will all be worth it when this movie is finally finished and online. That's all for now. Later Chris May 22nd, 2007 Hello friends, Chris here. So here is what's going on at Blinky Productions. Question Part IV- you know, honestly, I really was looking forward to making this, that is, until I read Manhunter 30. Honestly, I gave a really good set up for DC involving Manhunter, Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle, but I think they just dropped the ball. For those of you who don't read comics, DC comics started this elaborate story story arc involving the Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman who was on trial for murder, and instead of seeing it through all the way, they copped out with a very below average excuse. After reading issue 30, I really felt like it took away all the motivation I had for making my film. And I felt that if I were to continue with my Question series, it would no longer maintain the continuity I initially tried to set up when I started all this. So here is where I'm currently at, yes I do want to finish the series, but I feel that right now is not a good time. So here is what I'm going to do, most likely, later this spring or more towards the beginning of summer, I WILL finish the Question series with part 4. I know that if I were to do it now, I would not be in the right mind set. In other Blinky News, World's Finest is almost complete and should be online with in a week or so. Next up on the shooting schedule, features. I think it's about time I start making some feature films. Nothing is conclusive yet, but I am in talks with several people to begin production on some of their projects as Director of Photograohy, so we'll see what's up as things develope. That's all for now. Later Chris May 6th, 2007 Well slap me around and call me Susan, I have been super friggin busy this these last two months. With what you might ask? Well it's spring and I'm doing some spring cleaning with some of my older projects. As you know, sometime last year I announced I wanted to make a Catwoman VS Power Girl movie. As you also might know, I never got around to making it, I guess you could say the time just wasn't right. Well the stars have aligned and good news baby, it's finally happening. The roles have been cast, the script has been written and fight rehearsals start next week. That's right, "The World's Finest" is gearing up to go. Starring Niki Notarile and Tawnya Manion, I expect to have this boob-tacular movie done in the next few weeks. More info on that as it happens. In other Blinky News, I'm not looking forward to the Halloween remake. I've heard just too many things that didn't sit right with me. In all honesty, I think the franchise is dead. And I seriously feel it needs to be properly put to rest, with that being said- I'm gonna kill Michael Myers. Yep, I'm making my 1st horror fan film in almost two years. How am I going to kill him, you ask? Just wait and see ok? On that note, "The Last Halloween" will be my final horror fan film. From this moment on, I vow to only make original horror content. That's all for now. Later Chris March 30th, 2007 Hey folks, so here is the Blinky downlow. Question II and my 1st horror movie in two years, The Cabinet, are now online. Next up, we'll I guess I'm gonna wrap up the Question and move on. Part III & IV will be shot back to back and online very very soon. Needless to say, they will be very intense as well as informative on the current events in the DCU concerning he death of the Blue Beetle. I'm sure you will all enjoy them Next up is an original short I've been dying to tackle since it's inception- The Avenger. About a swashbuckling vigilante with a pention for bar room brawls and a tough as nails attitude to boot. This is just going to be a superhero/action movie blast and I can't wait for you all to see it. That's all for now. Later Chris March 2nd, 2007 Wow, things have definitely been, eventful to say the least. So here is the rundown of what's up here, at Blinky Productions. Febuary 20th, I saw a press screening for The Number 23. And just for the record- that movie was AMAZING. I mean wow. Jim Carrey did an amazing job. I don't care what anyone else says. He was awesome. So there. If you get a chance, GO SEE 23. It's a great movie with a great moral. Another movie I got to see, was last night. I went to the press screening for The Zodiac. Not as awesome as 23, but very well written. I feel that because the case was never solved, the writers of this movie didn't really know how to give the movie a definitive end. Rather it just felt like the movie stopped slowly. Not the best of endings, but accurate none the less. On the plus side, the acting was great. Everyone really helped everyone out and I truly enjoyed watching this cast play with their characters. 23 was better, but if you're into serial killers, give Zodiac a chance too. Now onto Blinky News. COMIC ON!!! My god was that amazing. I got to do some crazy promotions at that show and made some great connections. I also got to meet some of my fans which is always a pleasure. I made some great connections with G4TV and the Horror Channel as well as the show itself. I don't know what's going to happen next, but whatever it is, its going to be cool. Moving on, what's next in the Blinky world of movie making you ask? Well I'll tell you. Fan film wise, I am beginning work on a sequel to my Question film. This time you can bet your bottom dollar there will be way more action. After that, Alley Cat will begin and Niki will finally get another crack at our beloved Catwoman. Then later on this spring, fellow fan filmmaker Nick Murphy (director of that Tomb Raider fan film) and I will be teaming up to tackle a Scarlet Spider movie. About a year ago I was going to attempt to make the movie myself but decided to put it on the back burner, now the time has finally arrived and I can make this movie as cool as I wanted it to originally be. More on that as it happens. That's all for now. Later Chris February 1st, 2007 A lot is happening right now. Last night I was at the NYC premiere for "Hannibal Rising". I got to meet Gong Li and Dino DeLaurentiis and his wife. Granted, the Wiensteins were there as well as Gispard Ulliel, but I couldn't find them in the crowd. Oh well. Anyhoo, it was a moderatly good networking experience and definitely fun. For you Hannibal fans out there, check out Hannibal Rising, it was pretty damn good. Ok shamelss plug out of the way, back to business. I have a couple of updates for everyone. 1st, Cat and Mouse is still in progress. Things are on schedule, that's all I can say about that right now. But when the film is done and on DVD, you WILL love it. Next up, in the fan film section of my world, once Cat and Mouse is done, I will be embarking on a few fun projects for all you comic fans out there. 1st up, The Question. Birds of Prey writer, Gail Simone has been kind enough to write me a script for Question and I am exstatic to see what she comes up with. 2nd, more Catwoman. If you've been to Fanboy Theatre, then you've seen the announcement. Niki will return for a 3rd installment of Catwoman. In fact, we will actually be doing another series of films. The 1st will be called "The Alley Cat". It's more independent from the series, much like "Principles" was, but it will be way better. I look at it as the 2007 introduction to Niki's Catwoman. After that, the new series, which is still untitled will feature several very important male figures in Catwoman's life and her interactions and relationships to them. And finally 3rd, when all is said and done and I manage to save up a few extra bucks, I will be doing a JSA pilot. In the costumed veign of Smallville, I will be making a pilot about the reformation of the JSA and the lives of the members involved. It will be action packed as well as character-accurate. Unlike Smallville, I don't intend to screw around with character's origins and personalities. Hopefully everyone will enjoy my take on this. That's all for now. Later Chris January 7th, 2007 This just in, I will be flying out to Texas in a week or so to begin pre-production on my 1st feature film- Cat and Mouse. The film will be shot the last two weeks of January and ending on the 30th. I will be back home by February. With that being said, keep an eye out for the official Cat and Mouse website launching this spring. Cat and Mouse will be hitting dvd late summer early fall 2007. That's all for now. Later Chris December 22nd, 2006 Behold, my new HD Demo Reel. YEAH!!! DEMO!!! YEAH!!! REEL!!! That's all for now. Later Chris December 18th, 2006 So I made that Flash film I mentioned a while back. And now, with the sudden announcement of Sam Raimi's interest in making a Shadow movie, I've decided to try my hand at it and hopefully send a copy off to Mr.Raimi. Who knows, he might even like it and come a calling. But for what it's worth, it'll be a real fun project and I can't wait to get that sucker made. And this time around, I'm putting a new spin on the character. I can't say much, but I will say this, this ain't your Grandaddy's Shadow. That's all for now. Later Chris December 1st, 2006 For those of you who actually read this section, here is a little something for ya. My Catwoman, and Power Girl movies are now available to download. Click the link below and enjoy: CLICK ME DAMMIT!!! That's all for now. Later Chris November 24th, 2006 This just in! Tawnya Manion is back in town and is ready and raring to get back in her boots and cape and return to the screen as everyone's favorite buxom blonde hero, Power Girl. So, fear not. I guarrentee, by sometime next week, we WILL have a new Power Girl movie online for your viewing pleasure. Also, be on the look out for Deadpool and my original action short, The Cleaner. More on that as it comes in. That's all for now. Later Chris October 30th, 2006 Bad news.... sort of. Due to excessive spam accounts on my forums from various retards across the internet, I have decided to finally eliminate my Blinky Boards and replace them with a new section. EXTRAS. Yep, no more posting on my site.... well it's not like any of you would notice, I mean there hasn't been a post on my site in like a year!!!! But whatever. So yeah, no more Blinky Boards, just EXTRAS which will have all my early work on display for your viewing pleasure. That's all for now. Later Chris November 15th, 2006 So yeah, it's been a while since I posted last. But that's only because there hasn't been much happening.... that is until now! Pre-production has just begun on my new film Golden Age. The Avenger's costume was just completed yesterday. The role has also been cast and fight choreography for the film is beginning to take shape. Filming will probably begin in the next few weeks, but the film won't be completed till Febuary due to scheduling with my other actors. On plus side, I will have a preview out at least before Christmas. And speaking of Christmas, it's finally coming down to the wire, Axe Massacre, my first feature film is scheduled to begin production early 2007. As of now I'm still in the middle of securing a budget, but things right now seem prospective. So keep your fingers crossed and light a candle for me. It's going to take a real miracle to pull this film off. In other Blinky News, several of my films will be screening at the 2007 New York Comic Con in Febuary, as well as the Pheonix Cactus Con in January. Also be sure to look me up on IMDB. Even though it's taken forever, I've finally gotten some of my films on there. The most recently added: Catwoman (The Diamond Exchange) and Joker. Hopefully I will rack up enough credits to get the rest of my work up there as well. Later Chris October 28th, 2006 Good news everyone. As most of you already know from the Home Page, The Protector is now completed and on the site.... duh. Well since it was such a great movie to make and I had such fun with the cast, I've decided to make a follow up prequel film which will tell a story about the Protector in his Heyday. The film will be called The Golden Age and will follow a young established Protector as he joins forces with some fellow heroes (The Avenger and BlackBird) to stop a deadly terrorist from destroying their city. The Golden Age will probably begin production in January or Febuary 2007. As of now, I'm still writing the script with fellow author Chris Irving. Chris as some of you may not know, is the author of "The Blue Beetle Companion", a book that will chronolize the life of the character, the Blue Beetle, in one giant hardcover. Also, it will have a small section dedicated to me for my involvement with the character. Cool right? So what's next on the slab for me? Well I'm leaning towards making a Deadpool short, but I can't promise anything yet. But fear not, once I figure out what I'm doing next, I will for certain, post it on here. That's all for now. Later Chris October 10th, 2006 Got some updates on what's been happening. As of October, 9th, I began filming on my new film, The Protector. We shot in the Bronx in an awesome secluded back alley. Very retro. The production is coming along very well and should be completed and online before Halloween. I'll have some pics online ASAP. That's all for now. Later Chris September, 20, 2006 Good news everyone. My Blue Beetle : Promo Movie is now complete!!! While making this movie, and writing the script for my Blue Beetle feature film, I fell in love with the idea of the Golden Age Superhero. How pure they used to be and how idealistic they were. I was also really ashamed by the way modern day comics have either corrupted or killed off these characters because they didn't seem multi-dimensional enough. So I've decided to make a little film showing exactly what might have become of such a character had he been a superhero of the 1930's. The film is called: The Protector and is about an elderly man who once was capable of saving the world is now reduced to a feeble old man who is just wasting away. The story is actually a bit of a tear jerker, but has a great message. The Protector will begin filming early October. That's all for now. Later Chris September, 14, 2006 Not much is going on right now. But I'll still fill you in on the latest. I just got in Niki's new Catsuit. This time around, its a more darker and more vibrant purple. Hopefully it will look even better on film. Also, Niki will finally be sporting kitty cat claws, allowing Catwoman to finally do some shred damage. In other Niki news, Niki's website has finally been updated and is now active. Be sure to check her out at: NIKI NOTARILE.COM As for me? I just put a fresh new spin on my Myspace profile. Check it out when you can at: Chris' Myspace Page. That's all for now. Later Chris August, 19th, 2006 This just in, I will be doing a new Catwoman short, entitled: Alley Cat Tales. The story will center around Catwoman tracking down a pedophile who crossed her path and giving him what he deserves. Now before you say: "That doesn't sound like something Catwoman would do." Just just keep in mind, she only doesn't do anything unless she knows its going to benefit her in some way. With that being said, Niki will be returning as Catwoman with a brand new slightly modified for comfort catsuit. And yes, it WILL be purple. In other Blinky News, Bitter Sweet is set to begin filming this Monday. Expect to see something up by the weekend. Also, for all you South West fans, who live in the Mesa, Arizona area, my films will be screened at the Pheonix Cactus Con, this September on the 23rd or 24th. I'll try to make it, but I'm making no promises. Speaking of conventions, as it turns out, if you're going to Dragon Con this year, check out the dealer's section and look for some of my dvd's. Word on the street is that some of them might be on sale. That's all for now. Later Chris August, 10th, 2006 Good news everybody. Not only did I finish the Jason Todd trailer up last week, but here is a link to some of the photos taken of me and Niki at Comic Con. I also have this cool little interview I also did with Divix. Check it out: Click the pics and enjoy.
I just got back from Comic Con and man was that an amazing adventure. Four days of just fandom and fun. Niki and I both went in costume, I as Blue Beetle and she as Catwoman. Go figure, right? We had a blast, we got on G4 TV as well as other various internet and comic related shows and websites. Too many to count if you ask me. So here's what's happening: Not only did I visit California, but I filmed my first West Coast movie: Joker. Oh yeah, it's finished by the way and is now available to view on this site. That's about it for now. I'll keep you posted as things come in. Later Chris from July, 17, 2006 Hey everyone it's been a while but I finally figured out how to update my news section. So here's what's happening: 1st off, I just finished several interviews which are all online, the 1st is from Ruby Filmz.com. It's a really cool interview that you can view on my Myspace Page. The 2nd interview is a wonderful article written by Stephanie Mangold of Silver Bullet Comics. Click HERE to view it. The 3rd is another article which can be found in Fan FIlm Quarterly. But to read that you'll have to order the magazine. You can find out more about that at lulu.com. Ok, enough of the shameless self promotions and onto Blinky News. This weekend, July 19th- July 22nd, my wife, Niki, and I will be appearing at the San Diego Comic Con. It's gonna be a blast. We will be promoting Catwoman (The Diamond Exchange) as well as just hanging out with our sponsors vMix. And get this, I will be hosting a webshow for vMix as the Blue Beetle. What will I be doing you ask? Not only will I be annoying as hell, but I will also be harrassing all the celebs and hopefully interviewing them too. It will be a barrel of laughs. And right after comic con, I will be joining forces with fellow fan filmmaker, Aaron Schoeneke to collaborate on a couple of projects. More info as that develops. For those of you unfamiliar with Aaron or his work, he's the guy who made "Patient J" you can see that as well as his other films at: Bat in the Sun.com Next up after Comic Con, while I enjoy my time in LA, I will finally film "Joker"- my horror Joker movie. And it will not only be intense, it will be good! And right after that, I might just even tackle a Black Adam short based off of his introduction in DC Comics' 52. More on that as it develops. Also, as if I wasn't busy enough, I will be filming new test footage of the Santa Slasher with who else- Superman himself, Mike O'Hearn. We also have a pitch meeting set up to hopefully seal the deal on this film. Wish us luck. And finally, this November, Niki and I will be attending the Florida Super Con as- get this, GUESTS! Is that crazy or what? Yes, there will be screenings of all my new films, Niki and I will be signing autographs next to film stars like Margot Kidder, Noel Niell and Gerard Christopher. We will also be peddling our Blinky merchandise as well, go figure. But regardless we are truly honored and hope to see you there. For more info on Super Con, Go HERE. That's all for now.
